Description | Metropolitan line centenary parade. E class locomotive L44, built at Neasden in 1896, hauls milk van no. 3, restored to its Metropolitan Railway style, and four ex-Metropolitan coaches past the stand. The coaches date from 1898-90 and were in service until 1960, working in latter years on the Chesham branch. They now belong to the Bluebell Railway whose livery they wore in the parade. |
